Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous.

às vezes faz bem voltar a lugares onde fomos felizes... onde houve um saldo positivo, largamente positivo, apesar das contrariedades! onde te dizem "a professora era chata!", com um sorriso largo rasgado, uma PJ... e vindo de quem vinha só era elogio por ser para mim. não trabalhamos para nos agradecerem a cada dia por existirmos, pelo que fizemos, pelo que investimos em cada minuto desse trabalho... mas se num tempo mais ou menos dilatado alguém reconhece que tivemos valor, nos diz "como tu nunca", rasga o sorriso, normalmente difícil, e abre os braços para nos receber e fecha o abraço, num sufoco doce e bom... mostra-nos valeu a pena ser chata e PJ... e mesmo assim acreditar mais neles do que eles mesmos!
